Dhanya Vad Kritajna Hum

from 60 and Bust by Karambir Singh Khalsa

This song is a combination of two Hindu mantras: Dhanya Vad (I feel gratitude) and Kritajna Hum (I am grateful). Apologies if my translations are erroneous. In any case, I wanted to align myself with the attitude of gratitude and these two mantras together seemed to flow rather nicely. I recorded this in one take using an Ovation acoustic electric guitar and my Macbook Pro's camera and microphone as a video track which I then mixed-down using GarageBand. I did the best I could to bring the voice forward.
